Sheffield Buses – Consultation & Scrutiny Committee

A brief update on Sheffield Buses.  The public benches were full at yesterday’s Cabinet meeting, and Alan Kewley who wrote this report for us was one of several who raised questions.  The Cabinet members present voted to endorse the recommendations in the report.  This decision has now been “Called In” and will be considered in more detail by their ‘Economic & Environmental Wellbeing’  Scrutiny Committee due to meet on 20-Sept.  A special meeting is likely to be called before then.
As this is meeting is open to the public details will be posted a week in advance, those who wish to participate should check for more details on the Council’s Scrutiny section https://meetings.sheffield.gov.uk/council-meetings/scrutiny
