Hantu Store – paid internships

Hantu is a positivity and creativity platform in the creative industries: music, fashion, dance and design with international clients, a strong brand and dedicated social agenda.

Over the next 24 monthsHantu’s focus is to link their strands namely: artisanal co-operatives in Indonesia, up and coming designers and dancers in the UK and high profile clients in the US.  Angga Karra, who co-founded Union St Co-working, Sheffield Live TV (Freeview ch 8) http://vimeo.com/107998960, gave an inspirational TedXSheffield talk “Half Bucket Full” at Sheffield Docfest International Documentary 2013 Festival.

Currently they are running a challenge to find 2 interns for an exciting  paid opportunity for one each of two roles:

  • Junior Development officer
  • Marketing and communication interns

You will work with the Director and Development Officer, to help develop a UK marketing campaign in selected cities, expanding the retail sales of apparel and accessories while supporting the delivery of the international social  campaign due October 2015.

The successful person will be motivated, original and creative. Flexible working arrangements depending on the individual, but most likely 1 day per week in the office, 1 day remote, over two months.

We're an independent think tank, founded in 2006 to bring people in our communities together with policymakers and stakeholders. We create space often in a workshop format to pool ideas, develop networks and tackle hot topics. Since 2009, we’ve focused on the sustainability agenda such as: climate change, energy, housing, technology, transport with interest in:education, health, welfare, regulation and enforcement. Our latest project is funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering Ingenious Grant and our next event on 27th June 2013 includes George Monbiot with other high level environmental policy makers.
