Sheffield buses – Council Scrutiny Cttee 17 Sept

A special meeting of the council’s relevant Scrutiny Committee has been called on 17-Sept to reconsider in more detail the decision about the future of Sheffield Buses made at the Cabinet meeting on 22-Aug, which has been “called in” –
The full agenda will be posted on their website a week in advance, and members of the public can attend & ask questions.
This depleted Cabinet meeting was attended by the public & some local councillors, who felt that this important decision was being rushed through to meet an artificial deadline before focus groups, like the council’s ‘Sheffield on the Move’ forum, have had an opportunity to discuss & understand the issues.
Once again, our thanks to Alan Kewley for bringing this to our attention.
